The asphalt renewal works carried out by Konya Metropolitan Municipality at the Koyuncu Bridge Intersection have been completed.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay reminded that while they are making urban transportation more comfortable, safe and fluid with overpasses and new streets, they are also making intense efforts to increase the quality and comfort of existing roads.
Stating that the work they started to make the Koyuncu Bridge Junction, one of the busiest junctions in Konya, more comfortable has been completed, Mayor Altay said, “Last week, we completed the asphalt of the lane in the Meram direction at the Koyuncu Bridge Junction. This week, our teams worked at night and completed the asphalt work in the other direction. We also maintained the railings of the bridge. We will continue to work day and night with the understanding of the ‘Konya Model Municipality’ to provide more comfortable transportation for our fellow citizens of Konya. Good luck.”
