Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) continues to revitalize the idle structures in the capital and offer them to the service of citizens. In this context, Sincan Fatih Swimming Pool, the foundation of which was laid by Sincan Municipality in 2007 but was left idle after the rough construction was completed, was transformed into a modern sports complex with the initiative of ABB. After the renovation works, the facility, which was opened to the use of the people of the capital under the name of “Sincan Atatürk Swimming Pool and Sports Complex”, awaits its guests who want to do sports.
Modern Facility with 7 Thousand Square Meters of Closed Area
Sincan Atatürk Swimming Pool and Sports Complex, which will provide service with a membership system, offers users the opportunity to be active in various sports branches. The facility, which has a total indoor area of 7 thousand square meters, includes a semi-Olympic indoor swimming pool, a fitness center equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, a multi-purpose field where basketball and volleyball matches can be held, and a tennis court.
Members-only facilities and Atatürk Exhibition Area
Citizens who are members of the complex will be able to benefit from a series of special facilities in addition to doing sports. The facility has coded lockers where personal belongings can be safely stored, a sufficient number of hygienic changing cabins, modern shower areas and an infirmary service in case of any health problems. In addition, citizens visiting the facility will have the opportunity to live the memory of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk by visiting the Atatürk Exhibition Area located within the complex.

Stating that the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Atatürk Swimming Pool and Sports Complex was built on a large area of 24 thousand square meters, Metropol İmar AŞ General Manager Okan Evliyaoğlu emphasized that the facility was put into practice with the aim of providing high-quality service to the people of the capital. Evliyaoğlu said, “Although the construction started in 2007, this facility could not be put into service for some reason, the project was completed and tendered to make it safe and comfortable in 2022. Our facility, which bears the characteristics of our President Mr. Mansur Yavaş's principles of providing high-quality service and creating comprehensive facilities; has a semi-Olympic swimming pool, a comprehensive fitness center, two studios where pilates and zumba group lessons will be held, high-capacity reformer studios, a tennis court, volleyball and basketball courts. In order to provide better quality service to our valued guests, there are coded locker cabinets, a number of locker cabins and showers that they can use without waiting in line in our facility. We expect all citizens of Ankara to experience the privilege of doing sports with our expert team in the field.”
Special Days for Women and Men
Certain days have been set aside for citizens who want to use the Sincan Atatürk Swimming Pool and Sports Complex. While women can use the facility on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, men can do sports on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The complex will be at the service of the capital's residents six days a week from 08.30:21.30 in the morning to XNUMX:XNUMX in the evening.
