STM, one of the leading companies of the Turkish defense industry, will take its place at TEKNOFEST TRNC with its national technologies.
STM, one of the stakeholders of the National Technology Move, continues to contribute to the future of the defense industry with inspiring projects and events for young people. STM will meet with technology enthusiasts at the TEKNOFEST Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) event to be held at the Nicosia Old Ercan Airport between 1-4 May 2025.
The first stage of the TEKNOFEST Drone Championship (TDŞ), organized by STM, will be held in TRNC. In TDŞ, pilots will compete on challenging courses with drones that they designed and assembled themselves.
National Engineering Products in Northern Cyprus
At TEKNOFEST TRNC, models of the 5th ship of Türkiye's first national frigate MİLGEM, TCG İSTANBUL, the STM500 submarine, the national strike UAV system KARGU and the national spotter UAV TOGAN will be exhibited at the STM stand.
Young People Will Draw the Technology of Their Dreams
Throughout the event, the STM stand will host many educational and entertaining activities for children and young people. Visitors will try to match the warships and UAVs developed by STM with the “Digital Memory Game.” The little ones will also put the technologies of their dreams on paper and bring them to life on digital screens. High school and university students visiting the STM stand will be able to discover engineering fields suitable for them through a digital survey and receive information about internships, candidate engineering and career opportunities at STM.
Güleryüz: We Will Strengthen Our Strong Ties with TRNC with Our National Technologies
STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz said, “TEKNOFEST is a very valuable platform that strengthens our youth’s interest in science, technology and engineering and allows them to reveal their potential through organized competitions. We are very happy to further strengthen the strong ties between Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus through technology. As STM, we will introduce high-tech products that we have developed with our national engineering power in the defense industry to our Cypriot brothers.”
