Istanbul Electric Tram and Tunnel Operations (IETT), affiliated with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, carried out a meaningful social responsibility project that touched lives on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. In cooperation with the Turkish Cancer Association, IETT realized the dreams of children receiving cancer treatment through a specially designed bus.
IETT, which manages the largest public transportation fleet in Türkiye and the second largest in the world, is also frequently mentioned with its social responsibility projects. As part of the special project implemented on this meaningful day, an IETT bus was decorated with colorful pictures drawn by children receiving cancer treatment and their heartfelt wishes. These wishes made by the children specifically for April 23 were meticulously fulfilled by IETT employees and managers and delivered to the little hearts with the same special bus.
Within the scope of this meaningful project, which IETT implemented together with the Turkish Cancer Association, the special bus designed will continue to meet with Istanbulites for a week on the 36 CY Yenibosna – Cebeci line. In this way, both the holiday joy of our children will be shared and attention will be drawn to the hopeful world of little ones undergoing cancer treatment. This meaningful initiative of IETT, in a manner befitting the spirit of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, once again revealed the value given to children, who are the guarantee of our future.
