Cost Support for Exporters for the Sixth Time from Turkish Cargo and TİM

Turkish Cargo, Turkish Airlines’ successful air cargo brand, has renewed its important cooperation agreement with the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) for the sixth time, aiming to reduce exporters’ transportation costs. This sustainable cooperation continues to provide Turkish exporters with a competitive advantage in global markets.

Anatolia's Products Will Be Carried to 25 Destinations in 37 Countries at a Discount

Within the scope of the renewed agreement, Turkish Cargo will deliver various products produced all around Anatolia to 25 important destinations in 37 different countries. These shipments will be carried out with an average discount of 41 percent for general cargo and 37 percent for perishable cargo. The campaign will cover a wide range of products such as perishable cargo (fruit, vegetables, meat, fish), pharmaceutical cargo, and eggs, as well as general cargo, and will be valid until August 31, 2025.

THY Chairman of the Board Bolat: “We Prioritize Increasing the Competitiveness of Our Exporters”

Making evaluations about the cooperation, Turkish Airlines Board of Directors and Executive Committee Chairman Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat emphasized that they prioritize increasing the global competitiveness of Turkish exporters as the flag carrier airline. Bolat said, “In this context, we renewed the Export Campaign Protocol that we signed with TİM, which reduces the transportation costs of our exporters, for the sixth time. This year, we increased both the discount rates and expanded the product range in order to reach more manufacturers. Our exporters will be able to safely deliver their products to 37 different destinations within the scope of the campaign with discounts of up to 41 percent on general cargo and 37 percent on perishable cargo, depending on the product type. We hope that this traditional cooperation will increase our country's exports and strengthen its power in foreign trade.”

TİM Chairman Gültepe: “Air Cargo Transportation is the Key to Accessing Distant Markets”

TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, on the other hand, drew attention to the necessity of finding new markets to increase exports and stated that air cargo transportation plays a critical role, especially in accessing distant markets. Emphasizing that speed and cost are of vital importance at this point, Gültepe said, “At this point, we have signed a protocol with our most important supporter, Turkish Airlines, the source of pride of our country, for the sixth time. With the protocol that will be valid between March 10 and August 31, 2025, we will hopefully increase the share of air transportation even more. Within the scope of the protocol, our exporters will be able to deliver their products to 25 cities in 37 countries at a discount. The discount rate will be an average of 41 percent for general cargo and an average of 37 percent for perishable cargo. We would like to thank the Turkish Airlines family, which provides cost advantages to our exporters, for the sixth protocol.”
