DOLAP, staged by Biraderler Yapım and in which the social initiative Children's Youth Art Theater (ÇGST) constantly takes part, continues to meet with the audience. The play, which holds a mirror to the growing pains of young people, will be staged on Saturday, April 26 at 20.00:XNUMX at Maltepe Türkan Saylan Culture Center.
Written and directed by Yonca İnal, produced by Biraderler Yapım and staged with a giant production of 40 people, “CLOSET: A Youth Musical” gives a powerful response from the stage to many current politics, from exam pressure to social media effects, peer bullying to problems. This dynamic narrative, where music, dance and youthful energy come together, appeals not only to young people but also to adults who have difficulty being reflected in them.
Exam anxiety, social media pressure, peer bullying and feeling inadequate… DOLAP brings all these themes to the stage in a sincere and striking way with the language of the youth. The musical, which never loses its rhythm with Ece Irmak Albayrak's choreography, draws the audience in with the dance and its growth in the world. The stage layout shaped with Nurus' advanced 'Matilda' chairs offers a visual feast to place within the ordinary.
