Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Cemil Tugay continues his field inspections in order to find solutions to the problems of Izmir residents as soon as he takes office. Mayor Tugay's last stop was Buca. Mayor Tugay, who carried out a series of inspections here, received positive feedback from citizens, especially regarding the changes in Hasanağa Garden, where renovation work has been completed. Mayor Tugay also addressed the traffic problem in Üçkuyular Square and instructed the relevant units to produce a quick solution.
Hasanağa Garden Renewed: Rain of Gratitude from Buca
The first address of President Dr. Cemil Tugay's Buca field trip was Hasanağa Garden, which has undergone extensive renovation work by the Parks and Gardens Department. President Tugay toured the park from beginning to end with Parks and Gardens Department President Halit Çelik and examined the renewed grass areas, modern children's playgrounds, useful sports fields, new garbage bins and infrastructure work on site.
During his visit, Mayor Tugay chatted with many citizens in Hasanağa Garden and surrounding streets and listened to the demands of the people of Buca. Citizens, shopkeepers and mukhtars who saw the great change in Hasanağa Garden, which had been neglected for a long time, expressed their satisfaction and special thanks to Mayor Tugay. Buca residents who called out from their vehicles also stated that the new state of the garden was very beautiful and thanked Mayor Tugay for his work. Mayor Tugay took souvenir photos with the people of Buca and gave various gifts to the little ones who came to visit.
Instant Response to Traffic Congestion at Üçkuyular Junction
After the inspections in Hasanağa Garden, President Tugay’s next stop was Üçkuyular Square. President Tugay, who observed the traffic flow on site, recorded and photographed the traffic congestion experienced especially at the intersection of Journalist Writer İsmail Sivri Boulevard, 220th Street and Özmen Street with his mobile phone. President Tugay instructed the Transportation Department to start working immediately to solve this problem. This rapid intervention shows how sensitive President Tugay is to the problems that negatively affect the daily lives of citizens.
Renovation Works Continue at Fırat Yılmaz Çakıroğlu Park
Having completed his examinations in Üçkuyular Square, Mayor Tugay visited Buca tradesmen and then went to Fırat Yılmaz Çakıroğlu Park, where the Parks and Gardens Department is continuing its renovation work on Özmen Street. Mayor Tugay, who received information from the authorities about the works in the park area, also examined the cafeteria under construction by Grand Plaza AŞ. Mayor Tugay, who listened to the requests of the citizens regarding the park, conveyed the arrangements to be made in line with these requests to the relevant units. Mayor Tugay’s field visits clearly demonstrate the importance that the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality attaches to its works aimed at increasing the quality of life in Buca.
