A Case Study on Carbon Footprint Awareness from KAROSK

The organizer KAROSK is undertaking an exemplary project to draw attention to the potential damage to the environment caused by fossil fuel vehicles that will compete in the Rally Bodrum and to raise awareness about carbon footprint. Within the scope of this special study, which will be implemented in collaboration with Commited App and Kayacan Environment and Engineering, the total carbon footprint of the organization will be determined with a comprehensive report in accordance with international standards. A budget equal to the amount of carbon emission generated in line with the obtained data will be transferred to environmental projects that capture carbon in the air or prevent emissions in Bodrum. This sensitive approach is considered an important step in minimizing the impact of sports on the environment and supporting sustainability principles.
