The Most Colorful April 23 at Rahmi M. Koç Museum

April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day will be celebrated with fun and colorful events at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum. Children will have a fun time with the traditional 'Car Painting' and 'Sail Painting' events.

April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, presented to all children of the world by the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, is once again celebrated with colorful and entertaining events at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum.

Children will showcase their creativity in the 'Sail Painting' event, which will start at 11.30.

Following the painting event, four separate sailing tours will be organized between 12.30 and 14.45, depending on weather conditions. Participation in the limited capacity event will be limited to registration by the manager when purchasing tickets from the museum hall.

The museum's traditional 'Car Coloring' event starts at 13.00:15. In this event, XNUMX characters will be in four groups and children will color a white Beetle. The sails and cars colored by the children will be exhibited permanently in the Rahmi M. Koç Museum for a few days. However, in order to participate in the event, which is limited in quota, registration is required when purchasing a ticket from the museum hall.

Discover horses and automobiles at the Horsepower Exhibition

With the Horsepower Exhibition, which the museum is celebrating its 30th anniversary, children will have the opportunity to explore the transformation of the automobile in industrial history while following its traces in art and engineering starting from the 19th century. In the “Horse Figures” section located in the Mustafa V. Koç Building/historical Lengerhane Building, approximately one thousand artifacts and visuals related to horses selected from different geographies and cultures dating back to the 2nd century BC are exhibited. The “Automobile Stories” section in the Erdoğan Gönül Gallery features 35 automobiles selected from the general milestones of automobiles. The “Horsepower” exhibition is open to visitors until June 10, 2025.

Journey to history with toys

In addition to the active activities of the mini recordings, there is also the tin toy collection of journalist-writer Yalvaç Ural, which is included in the daily collection of Rahmi M. Koç Museum, and the Haliç Toy Shop sections among the Nostalgic Shops.
