
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu inaugurated the Siirt-Kurtalan Road and Airport Connection Road, an important development in Siirt's transport infrastructure. This new road will provide significant benefits to the region both economically and environmentally.
Travel Time Shortened, Savings Increased
Minister Uraloğlu announced that the project is 3 kilometers long in total, including the 21,2-kilometer Airport Connection Road. Thanks to this new road, travel time will be reduced to 14 minutes, thus saving 163 million TL in time and 43 million TL in fuel. It was also stated that the road will reduce carbon emissions by 2 tons.
Support for Regional Development
Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that this road will increase Siirt's trade and tourism potential and make a significant contribution to the economic development of the region. After the opening ceremony, Minister Uraloğlu tested the road and stated that the project was completed successfully and thanked those who contributed.
