
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu noted that they have manufactured a new pipeline within the airport to carry jet fuel from the Sea Port to Antalya Airport. Minister Uraloğlu said, “We are removing the entry and exit traffic of approximately 60 thousand tankers annually from the highways.”
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that they have manufactured a new pipeline to carry aircraft fuel within Antalya Airport in order to strengthen the investments made within the scope of the Antalya Airport Expansion Project. Minister Uraloğlu noted that the line in question has been integrated into the pipeline belonging to the ANT Presidency of the Ministry of National Defense.
Minister Uraloğlu said, “We have manufactured a new pipeline in the airport area to carry aircraft fuel from the Sea Port to Antalya Airport. The pipeline extends directly to the bridges in the terminal. In this way, we can refuel the aircraft much faster, safer and more efficiently.”

Underlining that the project in question is a strategic gain for Antalya, Minister Uraloğlu made the following statements in his statement.
“We are removing the entry and exit traffic of approximately 60 thousand tankers annually between the Sea Port and Antalya Airport from the highways. Thus, we are relieving Antalya city traffic, increasing road safety and reducing environmental pollution.”
New Terminal Buildings Open Today
Minister Uraloğlu also stated that the opening of the new terminal buildings, which were implemented within the scope of the Antalya Airport Expansion Project, will be held today by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and said, “We are increasing the international terminal to 224 thousand square meters and the domestic terminal to 75 thousand square meters, and the annual passenger capacity of our airport will reach 82 million.”
