Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that Russia's recent missile attacks on Ukraine are a clear indication that Russia is not seeking peace while the world hopes for a ceasefire. Sandu stressed that Russia continues its aggressive stance despite the international community's peace efforts.
Civilians Are Being Targeted
Stating that civilians were killed and injured in the recent missile attacks on Kiev, Sandu said that Moldova strongly condemned these terrorist acts. Sandu stated that Russia was violating international law by targeting civilians and escalating tensions in the region.
Call for Support for Ukraine
Sandu stressed that Ukraine needs more support, especially air defense systems. She called on the international community to provide military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, saying, “Only force can stop this war.” Sandu said that they stand with Ukraine against Russian aggression and that the international community should take the same stance.
