In the AUS Turkey Transportation Wisdom Awards organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality was deemed worthy of the jury’s special award for this successful work.

The project, meticulously prepared by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Planning and Rail Systems Department, was deemed worthy of the jury's special award at the "Way of Reason in Transportation Awards". In addition, the platform analyzes traffic accidents in detail, detects the points where accidents are concentrated and allows the development of safety measures based on this data.

“Smart Transportation Systems Management and Reporting Platform” makes it possible to manage all aspects of transportation within the city in a digital environment thanks to its different modules. Critical processes such as the inventory and maintenance tracking of traffic signs, optimization of signaling systems and efficiency of public transportation systems are effectively coordinated through this platform. In addition to instant traffic flow analyses at intersections, the system combines various modules such as sign management, activity tracking, accident analysis, public transportation management and warehouse stock management under a single roof.
Rapid Response and Powerful Decision Support System
This unique project developed by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality not only optimizes traffic management but also significantly speeds up emergency response. In the event of traffic accidents or malfunctions, field teams are notified instantly, shortening response times. In addition, the status of all traffic equipment within the city is constantly monitored through software, and maintenance processes are carried out more quickly.
Another important feature of the project is the full integration of all data obtained with the city's existing Geographic Information System (GIS). Thanks to this integration, comprehensive spatial analyses are performed, providing important input to transportation planning and decision-making processes. This award by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality once again confirms its vision and successful work on smart city applications.
