Having completed the first stage of the endurance challenge it initiated, Chery completed the four-day test with its TIGGO9 CSH and ARRIZO8 CSH vehicles, starting from Sanxia, passing through Wuhan and Wuzhen, and finally reaching Shanghai.
Chery continues to lead the sector with its R&D power and innovative technologies. Chery, which has begun to reap the fruits of its major investment in new energy vehicles, completed the first stage of its endurance struggle, which it initiated under the name of “Infinite Horizons, Worry-Free Journeys”, within the scope of the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show.
The brand's hybrid duo TIGGO9 CSH and ARRIZO8 CSH, which participated in the Chery Super Hybrid (CSH, Chery Super Hybrid) endurance challenge, completed a journey of more than 1.400 kilometers over four days, starting from Sanxia, passing through Wuhan and Wuzhen, and finally reaching Shanghai. This challenging test, conducted on different terrains and under different driving conditions, revealed the most important advantage of the CSH, namely "worry-free range."
Chery has redefined the standards for next-generation alternative powertrain vehicles, pushing the boundaries of efficiency and comfort. The highlight of this endurance challenge is its global perspective and deep integration into real-world scenarios.
Automotive press from Turkey, Malaysia, Poland, Czech Republic and other countries also joined the journey and shared their views on CSH’s technological strengths and performance. They shared these views with users via multilingual live broadcasts, enabling cross-regional and cross-cultural interaction. At the same time, real-time social media interactions enabled users to interact with the brand, creating a two-way dialogue between technological validation and public engagement.
The challenge, which covered a distance of more than 1400 kilometers and covered all types of driving scenarios, from urban traffic jams to mountain curves to high-speed driving, covered both daily use and long-distance travel. The vehicles were rigorously evaluated in six key areas: range, charging, acceleration, automatic parking assistance (APA), NVH improvement and V2L function. In all tests, Chery models delivered outstanding results, demonstrating how CSH innovations translate into real benefits for drivers.
In addition to the basic advantages of CSH, the test vehicles also feature a range of intelligent and comfort-oriented functions. Models equipped with around 20 ADAS features and the APA (Automatic Parking Assistant) system provide users with additional safety and comfort in difficult road conditions.
Chery’s “Infinite Horizons, Worry-Free Journeys” event not only showcased the brand’s technological prowess, but also embodied the philosophy of “technology equality” and “inclusive innovation.” After the event in China, Chery CSH will head to Malaysia as its next stop. Shaodong Zhu (Chery International Vice President) met with Malaysian market officials at the ceremony and concluded the handover ceremony.
In the future, the event will be expanded to include over 20 field tests in over 40 countries and regions in Asia, Europe and the Americas, thus attracting broader participation from the press and users worldwide. In addition to the TIGGO9 CSH and ARRIZO8 CSH, other models in the CSH series will also participate in the test, demonstrating that the system can seamlessly adapt to all scenarios in different environments.
With high efficiency and extremely low energy consumption becoming standard in series-production vehicles, and family SUVs offering a range of 1.400 kilometers and a 6,6 kW V2L function, the competitive landscape in the automotive industry will change radically. With its continuous innovation, Chery is taking the global hybrid market into a new era of “limitless” possibilities.
