
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has successfully completed another important work in line with its goal of strengthening the transportation network throughout the city and increasing the comfort of citizens. The asphalting works initiated on the 5-kilometer Bursa-Balıkesir road route, which is heavily used between Çalı and Kayapa, were completed in a short time thanks to the continuous and devoted work of the teams and put into the service of citizens.
Worked Day and Night
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality took action to re-establish transportation comfort in the region following the infrastructure works within the scope of the “Bursa Çınarcık Drinking Water Project” carried out by BUSKİ General Directorate. The asphalting works initiated on the Bursa-Balıkesir road route between Çalı-Kayapa were completed in a short time with the intensive work of the Metropolitan Municipality teams. In order to avoid any disruptions, especially during the daytime hours when traffic is heavy, the teams carried out the works between April 18 and April 25 with great care during the night hours.
More than 6 thousand tons of hot asphalt were used
More than 5 tons of hot asphalt were used to pave the route, which is 6 kilometers long in total. As a result of the teams' work that continued until late at night, the route was opened to citizens in the morning without any problems. Thanks to this fast and effective work, the transportation problem that the local people have been experiencing for a long time has been resolved.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey stated that the works within the scope of the “Bursa Çınarcık Drinking Water Project” continue uninterruptedly and announced that the asphalt works were completed quickly by the teams after the completion of the infrastructure works on the Bursa-Balıkesir road route between Çalı-Kayapa. Mayor Bozbey emphasized that their determination to increase the quality of life of the citizens and solve transportation problems with such works continues. It is expected that the traffic flow in the region will become more regular and comfortable thanks to the completed asphalt works.
