Bozüyük Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) made an important statement about the Bozüyük Logistics Village 2nd Stage tender announced by the General Directorate of Turkish State Railways (TCDD). BTSO officials pointed out that the tender, which will be held on May 29, 2025, carries great economic potential for Bozüyük and the region.
Bozüyük Logistics Village: Will Be the Locomotive of Regional Development
In a statement made by BTSO, it was stated that the Bozüyük Logistics Village Project, the foundations of which were laid in 2012, covers a total area of 650.000 square meters. When the project is completed, it is aimed to reach an annual carrying capacity of 1,9 million tons. This capacity will make Bozüyük an important logistics center and contribute greatly to the development of industry and trade in the region.
Logistics Centers in Türkiye and Location of Bozüyük
The statement stated that there are a total of 25 logistics centers throughout Turkey and 10 of them have been completed and put into operation. It was stated that 5 logistics center projects are currently ongoing and it was emphasized that one of these projects is Bozüyük Logistics Center. This situation reveals the strategic importance of Bozüyük within Türkiye's logistics infrastructure.
Stage 1 Completed: Infrastructure and Loading Areas Created
BTSO also summarized the work carried out in the first phase of the project in its statement. In this context, it was stated that in addition to the landfill work, the infrastructure was created, and a 1-meter-wide and 270-meter-long high loading ramp (615 m²) and a large loading-unloading area (14.500 m²) were built. It was also stated that the concrete ramps to be used in unloading operations were completed. This completed infrastructure creates an important basis for the faster progress of the second phase work.
