The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) is preparing to celebrate April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day with enthusiasm this year. The events, which will be organized with the theme of "Children's Turkey from Dream to Future", will start on Saturday, April 19 at the IMM Saraçhane Park and will turn the city into a festival area by meeting with children at 22 different locations in Istanbul for five days. Over 250 colorful and entertaining events will be held as part of the festival. In addition, as with all national and religious holidays, personalized Istanbulkart holders will be able to use public transportation free of charge on April 23.

The IMM Saraçhane Park, which will be the center of IMM's April 23 celebrations, will host many entertaining events on Saturday, April 19. Workshops, face painting events, fascinating illusion shows, cute mascots, beautiful children's concerts, pantomime shows and magnificent performances of IMM Orchestras will meet with children in Saraçhane.
The affiliates and subsidiaries of IMM have also prepared special programs to bring Istanbulites of all ages together for the April 23rd excitement at the events in Saraçhane. An IETT bus, specially decorated for April 23rd, will be transformed into a giant painting surface where children can freely express their imagination.
