Science Week Events: What Will Happen at Science Centers?
Science Week, celebrated every year, is organized to increase scientific awareness throughout Türkiye. This special week is held in every corner of Türkiye. in science centers will be full of many activities. Science enthusiasts will have fun and learn at the same time thanks to these activities.
Events and Workshops
During Science Week, public workshops, many events such as science shows, film screenings, conferences and poster design competitions will be organized. In addition, it is aimed to increase scientific awareness with village school visits. These events also include various workshops in which participants can actively take part.
- Laboratory Tours: Participants will have the opportunity to get to know scientific processes closely by visiting laboratories in science centers.
- Microscope Applications: You will be given the opportunity to examine and observe different samples using a microscope.
- Making a Satellite Model: Participants will gain practical knowledge about space science by making satellite models.
- Rocket Design Workshops: Applied studies on rocket construction and design will be carried out.
- Virtual Reality Experiences: Participants will enrich their scientific experiences with virtual reality technology.
Online and Face-to-Face Science Talks
During Science Week, More than 20 online interviews will be held. In these talks, scientists and experts will share current scientific studies in different fields with the participants. In addition, face-to-face science talks will be held with the participation of expert academics in science centers and libraries across Turkey.
DENEYAP Technology Workshops
Located in 81 provinces across Türkiye 131 DENEYAP Technology Workshop, will shed light on the history of science with the participation of 19 students. In these workshops, biographies of scientists who have left their mark on scientific developments from past to present will be shared and short films will be watched. In addition, robotics and coding festivals will be organized.
Science Youth Competitions
During Science Week, the “Science Young” program will be held every day between 20.00-20.30. live quiz This event is open to everyone interested in science and technology and offers a great opportunity for participants to test their knowledge levels.
