Marım: Our seas are our common heritage
Stating that they carried out this work to increase environmental awareness, İZDENİZ General Manager Gökhan Marım said, “Our seas are our common heritage and source of life. İzmir is a city integrated with its sea and Gulf. We removed a large amount of packaging waste from the sea in this event. The impact of every piece of garbage we throw on the marine ecosystem should be considered once again. We invite everyone to be more sensitive about protecting our seas and nature, especially packaging waste. With this meaningful event we held here today, we aimed to draw attention to the pollution problem our seas face. Transforming the waste removed from İzmir Gulf into works of art is a small step towards increasing environmental awareness.”
