The Metropolitan Municipality is making great efforts to develop Kocaeli's transportation network. While new development roads are being opened, transportation comfort is being increased by maintaining and repairing existing roads.
TRANSPORTATION NETWORK IS RELAXING IN KOCAELI
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues its investments in transportation. Teams working to ease the transportation network throughout the city are opening new zoning roads. In this context, teams affiliated with the Metropolitan Municipality Road Construction and Maintenance Department took action after the completion of the zoning plans. Teams that open new zoning roads in order to meet transportation needs are also carrying out improvement works to make the roads safer and more comfortable.
ROAD WIDENING AND FILLING OPERATIONS
Metropolitan teams are rapidly continuing excavation and pavement work on the new development road opened in Sepetçi Neighborhood of İzmit district. While road widening and filling operations were completed on Paşadağ Devran Street in Başiskele district, 300-meter concrete pipes were placed on the road providing access to Sevindikli Dam in Körfez district to facilitate rainwater drainage.
ROADS HAVE BEEN MADE DURABLE
Working intensively, the Metropolitan teams carried out a comprehensive improvement and terrace work on Ali Fuat Cebesoy Street and Gülümser Street in Kartepe District. In the Çavuşlu Neighborhood of Derince District, stabilized material was laid, making the road more solid and durable. The Metropolitan Municipality continues its work without slowing down so that citizens can have a safe and comfortable transportation experience.
