The Social Market, which was put into service by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, one of the few municipalities in Türkiye that is shown as an example with its work in the field of Social Municipality, did not leave those in need alone during the month of Ramadan.
Ordu Metropolitan Municipality is spreading the municipality of the heart to the city in addition to the classical municipality. The Metropolitan Municipality, which increases the living standards of its citizens with human-oriented projects, makes the lives of citizens in need easier with the Social Market project it has implemented. Disadvantaged citizens can shop with the points loaded on their cards according to their needs and the number of people in the household, from clothing to food, from cleaning to home textiles.
SHOPPING CAN BE DONE EITHER BY GOING TO THE MARKET OR VIA MOBILE
Citizens in 19 districts have the opportunity to shop from the Social Market either by coming themselves or by selecting the products they want via the mobile application. Online purchases are delivered to them by the Metropolitan Municipality teams within 1-3 business days.
DEPARTMENT HEAD KARABULUT: “WE HAVE 680 TYPES OF PRODUCTS IN THE SOCIAL MARKET”
Emphasizing that the Social Market established by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler has been taken as an example by many municipalities, Social Services and Mukhtar Affairs Department Head Emine Ela Karabulut said that their teams will continue to support citizens by carrying out coordinated work in 19 districts.
Department Head Karabulut made the following statement in his statement:
“As Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, our Social Market, which we put into service last term, opened its doors to those in need this Ramadan, just like every year. We currently have 680 different products in our Social Market, which we put into service last term. We offered food, cleaning, textile, stationery and more to our citizens here. Citizens who want to benefit from our Social Market will be able to apply to us from 19 districts. Applications are completed by our teams within 15 business days and completed with the card we give to our citizens in need. Apart from this, the needs of our citizens who place online orders from our districts are delivered to their doors within 1-3 business days.”
