As part of Ramadan events, Yıldırım Municipality hosted a one-woman play called “We Need to Talk About Palestine” in which actress Nurdan Albamya brought the life of Palestinian Meryem to the stage.
The play “We Should Talk About Palestine”, written and performed by Theatre Artist Nurdan Albamya İnce, hosted by Yıldırım Municipality and staged by Tiyatro Ankebut, was greatly appreciated by the citizens. The play, which opened its curtains at Barış Manço Cultural Center, was attended by many theatre lovers.
The 70-minute one-woman theater play, which tells the real-life story of Palestinian Meryem Abu Najma, who was forced out of her home by Israeli forces and fought hard for this cause, was watched with great interest from beginning to end. Theatergoers from Yıldırım gave a standing ovation to Theater Artist Nurdan Albamya İnce at the end of the play.
