Touching the lives of rural people with nearly 10 participants at 200 different locations in Izmir, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Village Theaters will bring art lovers together in the magical world of theater at the 3rd Village Theaters Festival. The festival, which will be held from March 17-22, will include plays, talks, workshops and film screenings.
The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Village Theaters bring art to rural areas with nearly 10 participants in 200 locations including Bergama Kozak, Foça Yenibağarası, Ödemiş Konaklı, Çeşme Germiyan, Urla Barbaros, Dikili Bademli, Buca Belenbaşı, Güzelbahçe Yelki, Seferihisar Ürkmez and Ulamış. The 17rd Village Theaters Festival, which will be held at the İzmir Art Center in Kültürpark between March 22-3, will bring together citizens with theater plays, talks, workshops and film screenings. The guest of honor of the festival this year will be Balıklıova Village Theater. All events can be followed free of charge throughout the festival.
The festival will start with talks and games
The festival will begin on March 17 at 17.30:20.30 with a talk titled “The Effect of Theater on Public Health.” The talk will be moderated by Dr. Ahmet Soner Emre, Head of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Department of Health Affairs and will feature speakers such as Aegean Geriatrics Association President, psychologist Mevlüt Ülgen, theater artist Tomris Çetinel and public health expert Dr. Ferhat Yıldız. At 18:11.00, Ürkmez Women’s Theater’s play “Kız Çocuğu” (Girl Child) will be performed. On March 20.30 at XNUMX:XNUMX, the talk titled “From Stage to Frame” will be moderated by theater director and actor V. Murat Güzel. Workshop and games
A workshop called “Holistic Health and Breathing” will be held on March 19 at 11.00:20.15. The workshop, organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Health Affairs Education Branch Directorate, will feature public health expert Ekrem Ersin Cesur and sociologist-breathing trainer Raşide Sar.
