Speaking at the ceremony, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Dr. Zafer Levent Yıldır stated that young people will shape the future of this country and the world, and said, “We are experiencing new things, a new world is being established. There are brand new concepts in this world now. You are the future of İzmir, the country and the world. You are obliged to know and understand all of these very well, work accordingly and do what is necessary. Sustainability is very important. The solution we find for a problem today may be our biggest problem tomorrow. You need to think long and hard about how you will underline the concept of sustainability. It is not enough to just find a solution, it is absolutely necessary to see that this solution is also a solution that provides sustainability.”

Demir: Hope is in science

Science Heroes Association Board of Directors Chair Prof. Dr. Sıddıka Semahat Demir said, “I have learned a lot from you. We will continue to work hard for every study we carry out under the roof of our association.
