Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality successfully completed its meticulous and intensive work that lasted throughout the night to eliminate the wear and tear at the points where the rail system intersects with the highway at the Düvenönü Junction.
In line with Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç's understanding of quality service in the field of transportation, the Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to strengthen the transportation infrastructure in the city and provide better services to citizens.
In this context, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality carried out a comprehensive maintenance work in order to eliminate the wear and tear that occurred over time at the points where the rail system route intersects with the highway, which is an important part of urban transportation. This intensive work, carried out at the Düvenönü Junction in cooperation with Kayseri Transportation Inc. and the Department of Technical Works, continued throughout the night.
The work initiated to prevent wear and tear from adversely affecting the comfort of tram passengers and the passage of road vehicles was completed meticulously. With this intensive work that continued throughout the night, the tram line was made safer and more comfortable.
