Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality will provide free public transportation services during the Ramadan Feast, and 44 buses will be used to travel to the cemeteries in the city on the eve and the first day of the feast.
The Transportation Department has launched a comprehensive preparation program to ensure that citizens do not experience any problems with transportation during the Ramadan Feast. Public transportation vehicles will provide free service throughout the city during the holiday (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday). With the decision taken, not only will free transportation be provided; the number of public transportation vehicles will also be increased, trips will be made more frequent, and additional personnel will be provided.
89 vehicles will serve on 257 routes
The number of vehicles and personnel will be increased on the day of the feast and during the holiday, and mosques and cemeteries will be served with additional buses and routes. A total of 89 vehicles with 487 personnel will serve on 257 routes. Within the scope of the program to be implemented by the Transportation Department for the holiday, 44 buses will serve citizens going to mosques and cemeteries during the day of the feast and the holiday. The number of vehicles on duty at night will be increased from 32 to 42, and service will be provided until 01.00:XNUMX at night.
Signaling team will be on site
The signaling team will be on site day and night to prevent traffic congestion and possible technical malfunctions, and in case of emergency, the traffic control center will intervene.
