
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has added a new distribution method to its iftar food service, which it has prepared specifically for the month of Ramadan.
The food distribution organized by the Social Services Department and carried out voluntarily by the All Anatolian Motorcycle Couriers Federation received full marks from citizens who could not make it to the iftar meal due to traffic.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department continues to distribute free iftar food and hot meals throughout the month of Ramadan.
The Social Services Department, which has introduced a new distribution method, delivers food packages to citizens who are stuck in traffic and cannot make it to iftar using motorcycle couriers.
Speaking about the food distribution carried out voluntarily by the All Anatolian Motorcycle Couriers Federation, Deputy Chairman of the All Anatolian Motorcycle Couriers Federation, Burkan Yıldırım, "We are carrying out this meaningful work together with the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department. We are delivering food to our citizens who cannot make it to the iftar meal in traffic. We are doing this completely voluntarily, without any commercial purpose. Our aim is to strengthen solidarity in this holy month and to be with our citizens who are on the road at iftar time.
