
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu attended the AK Party Malatya Provincial Presidency Vefa Iftar. Minister Uraloğlu stated that they have completed and opened a 38-kilometer section of the Malatya Northern Ring Road so far and said, “We have set a claim to complete the remaining 15 kilometers by the end of this year.” Uraloğlu also noted that they have completed the railway projects reaching the Mediterranean via Malatya-Sivas and Malatya-Narlı.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu spoke at the AK Party Malatya Provincial Presidency Vefa Iftar Program. Uraloğlu made a statement here and said, “Our apricot land, Malatya, takes on a different beauty in every season. Today, with the awakening of spring, we are here to share with you the hopes that are blossoming all around our city, our sprouting projects and our dreams for the future.”
Minister Uraloğlu said that the ancient city of Malatya, which follows in the footsteps of Somuncu Baba, who enlightened the spiritual world with the many values he cultivated throughout the centuries, Battalgazi, the symbol of bravery and valor who raised the flag of Islam and won many victories, and the late President Turgut Özal, who won hearts with his services and wisdom, is advancing towards the future with the same determination and resolve today.
“We are working with all our might to heal the wounds of Malatya”
Recalling that Malatya was shaken by the earthquake disaster that occurred 2 years ago on February 6, Minister Uraloğlu stated that they mobilized all their resources under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan from the first moment of the earthquake and continued his words as follows:
“As AK Party Governments, we are carrying out a tough struggle with tireless determination with strong projects related to housing, health, education, economy, trade, transportation, communication and social life. As a ministry, we are working with all our might to heal the wounds of Malatya and provide a strong transportation and communication infrastructure for it to get back on its feet.”
The target for the 15-kilometer section of the Malatya Northern Ring Road is the end of the year
Uraloğlu, who stated that they have many projects they are following in Malatya, said that they have completed and opened a 53-kilometer section of the 38-kilometer Malatya Northern Ring Road. Uraloğlu said, “We have set a claim to complete the remaining 15 kilometers by the end of this year. If there are minor problems, we will complete and open this road at the beginning of next year.”
Minister Uraloğlu, who noted that they increased Malatya’s divided road length from 36 kilometers to 471 kilometers and built 350 kilometers of bituminous hot mix road while there was no bituminous hot mix road, noted that they also rehabilitated the existing lines on the railways. Stating that they also have an effort to bring Malatya together with high-speed train networks, Uraloğlu said, “We have completed our railway projects reaching the Mediterranean via both Malatya-Sivas and Malatya-Narlı.”
Uraloğlu, who also made a statement about the connection roads of Earthquake Residences, stated that they have completed approximately 29 kilometers of the road built in İkizce. Uraloğlu said, “We will have completed the earthquake connection road by the end of the year and will have provided the connection to the OSB.”
