
The 43rd Hulya-Ozdemir Nutku International Izmir Theater Festival, organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, will open with The Diva Musical on March 27, World Theater Day. The festival will bring theater lovers together with a full program that will last until April 16. The festival, which aims to bring art to a wider audience, will feature 29 plays and free workshops.
The Hülya-Özdemir Nutku International İzmir Theatre Festival is opening its doors for the 43rd time by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality. The festival will start with The Diva Musical at Kültürpark İzmir Art Center on March 27, World Theatre Day, and will continue until April 16 with events to be held all around İzmir.
A total of 29 plays, six of which are children's plays, will be staged at the festival. The program also includes three international plays from Germany, Spain and Greece. Additionally, four short plays prepared by the Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Faculty Performing Arts Department will be included in the festival program and will be staged free of charge. Theater lovers will witness different theater experiences throughout the festival and will have the opportunity to gain new skills in performing arts with free workshops.

Tickets for adult plays within the festival are 100 TL, while children's plays and workshops are free.
