
Preparations are being completed for the Animal Shelter and Natural Habitat project, which is being rapidly implemented by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality in Sarısungur Neighborhood. The production of the huts and mats for the animals, who will roam freely in the natural habitat to be built on 67 acres of land next to the shelter, is being carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality.
The Metropolitan Municipality continues the construction of the Animal Care Center, which it has brought to life for our friends living on the streets, without slowing down. The groundwork for the Animal Care Center, which will be built on 67 acres of land, and 8 acres of the natural habitat are completed, and an environment where animals can roam freely is being prepared.
The production of dog houses, one of the most important elements of the natural habitat, is carried out with great care in the workshops of the Parks and Gardens Department. Drawing attention to the rapid increase in consumption today, municipal officials emphasized that the houses are made of recyclable materials. A total of 500 dog houses are being produced using recyclable bench boards and cement board materials, and 40 food machines are also being produced to meet the feeding needs of stray animals.
The Metropolitan Municipality announced that this project is both environmentally friendly and an important step towards increasing the welfare of stray animals, and that the work will be completed as soon as possible.
