Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality carried out household waste inspections in hospitals.
The Department of Environmental Protection and Control continues its work in the center and districts within the scope of the “Regulation on Control of Domestic Waste” in order to protect public health and protect citizens from the harms of domestic waste. Teams affiliated with the Department of Environmental Protection and Control conducted inspections in health institutions regarding the separate collection of domestic waste and storage as specified in the regulation. Within this scope, domestic waste inspections were conducted in two private hospitals located in the Yenişehir and Bağlar districts. The teams, who made the necessary warnings, prepared a situation assessment report and warned the personnel to take the necessary precautions.
Within the scope of the regulation, inspections will be carried out periodically in all hospitals and health centers within the municipal borders.
