Diesel Trains DPKr-3-005 and DPKr-3-006 were repaired by Kryukovsky Railway Carriage Construction Works (KRCBW) as of March 2025. This repair process includes parts replacement and system checks to ensure the safety and reliability of the trains. The repairs are part of routine maintenance work after 8.000 engine hours. In addition, technical service personnel are servicing ELENG Voith Rail Pack power units from Chornomorsk.

The repairs are being carried out through a meticulous process to ensure the long-term reliability of the trains. KRCBW has procured approximately $50.000 worth of materials as of March 27, 2025. This maintenance contributes to the life extension of both trains through regular maintenance.
History and Operation of DPKr-3
DPKr-3-005 and -006 trains were built by KRCBW in 2022. The first train entered service on November 25, 2022, while the second train entered service on December 26, 2022. These trains continue to operate safely and efficiently thanks to regular maintenance and repairs.
