
Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality is organizing an important conference for parents so that children can navigate the digital world safely and healthily. This event, titled “Parenting in the Digital Age,” will draw attention to internet usage and cybersecurity.
The conference, organized in cooperation with the Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department Children's Rights Unit, Science Experiment Center, Anadolu University Social Media and Digital Security Education, Application and Research Center (SODİGEM) and Eskişehir Police Department Cyber Crime Combat Branch Directorate, will start at 15:14.00 on Saturday, March XNUMX at the Eskişehir Haller Youth Center Phrygia Hall.
The conference will discuss how parents can be more aware of the dangers their children may encounter in the digital world, and will discuss topics such as internet safety and cyberbullying. The event will be addressed by SODİGEM Director Prof. Dr. Adile Aşkım Kurt, Expert Psychological Counselor Berna Gül and expert personnel from the Eskişehir Police Department Cyber Crime Prevention Branch Office, with important topics such as “The positive and negative effects of technology on children, what should be done if your child is being cyberbullied and/or is being cyberbullied? What should you do if your child is addicted to technology? What should you do if you are being victimized?”
Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality invited all parents to this useful conference with the aim of strengthening the role of parents in the digital age and helping them raise their children safely in the digital world.
