The “Ankara Faith Heritage Route” organized by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of Ramadan activities has started.
The journey into history began with the Ankara Faith Heritage Route, which was implemented by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality specifically for Ramadan. In the first tour, a group of 25 people visited historical mosques and tombs in Ulus. The tour, which started from the only work of Mimar Sinan in Ankara, the Cenab-ı Ahmet Pasha Mosque, ended at the Hacı Bayram-ı Veli Mosque. The participants, who had the opportunity to receive detailed information about the places visited with a guide, also met with the mini theater show titled “Ahilik Culture” performed by the actors of the City Theaters in front of the Arslanhane Mosque.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Department Head Ayça Yusufoğlu Köroğlu stated that they organized over 50 cultural events at 500 different locations during the month of Ramadan and said, “We organize a wide range of Ramadan programs from special performances prepared by our traditional theater actors to Sufi music concerts, from children and mothers' events to chats and discussions at young academies. We created a beautiful cultural heritage faith tour starting from the Cenab-ı Ahmet Paşa Mosque, the only work of Mimar Sinan in Ankara, and extending to the Hacı Bayram-ı Veli Mosque every Friday between 14.00:16.30 and XNUMX:XNUMX during the month of Ramadan.”
