
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that they will increase the capacity of trains by a total of 12 people in order to meet the increasing passenger demand due to the Ramadan Feast. Minister Uraloğlu noted that 786 additional YHT services will be added to the Ankara-Istanbul-Ankara route and 6 wagons will be added to mainline and regional trains.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu noted that capacity was increased in high-speed trains, mainline and regional trains to meet the increasing passenger demand due to the Ramadan Feast. Uraloğlu, who announced that additional YHT services will be organized on the Ankara-Istanbul-Ankara route, made the following statements in his statement:
“In order to meet the increased travel demand during the holiday period, we will organize additional YHT services between Ankara and Istanbul on March 28-29 and April 1, 2025. The 6 mutual services we plan will depart from Ankara at 09.40:18.00 and from Istanbul Söğütlüçeşme at 3:2. Thus, we will provide a total of 466 additional seat capacity for XNUMX days.”
Additional Capacity for 12 People on Trains
Minister Uraloğlu, who gave information that the capacity was increased in mainline and regional trains, stated that they will increase the capacity by adding wagons to the trains in question between March 27 and April 1, 2025.
