71 Palestinians Killed in New Israeli Attack on Gaza

Al Jazeera's correspondent in Gaza reported that at least 71 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in Israeli strikes at dawn in the north and south of the territory.

With the latest deaths, the Gaza Health Ministry said 183 Palestinians, including 436 children, have died since Israel broke the ceasefire on Tuesday.

As Israeli ground troops join the offensive on Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned of a “bigger and stronger front” in the occupied West Bank in addition to the “fierce fighting against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”

The Gaza Health Ministry said at least 49 Palestinians were confirmed dead and 547 wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza. The Government Media Office in Gaza put the death toll at over 112, while thousands more Palestinians lost under the rubble were also estimated to have died.
