PARS ALPHA 8×8 New Generation Armored Combat Vehicle
Produced to enable mechanized infantry to successfully perform their duties on the battlefield, PARS ALPHA 8x8 is a testament to FNSS’s expertise in land systems and its foresight in meeting changing user requirements. PARS ALPHA 8x8 pioneers innovative solutions in the field of new generation armored combat vehicles, bringing together technologies that provide superior mobility and survivability, durability, situational awareness and life support systems on a single platform.
PARS ALPHA, which has superior mobility in all types of terrain and weather conditions, combines the all-wheel drive, height adjustable independent suspension and all-axle steering system experienced in FNSS's 8x8 vehicles with the innovative design and equal axle distribution provided by the front power pack, offering a distinctive mobility. The hydropneumatic suspension system with adjustable ride height provides easy adaptation to different terrain conditions and positively contributes to reducing the silhouette of the vehicle. With the all-axle steering system, it provides high maneuverability on the terrain with a turning radius optimized especially for residential scenarios in narrow areas.
The vehicle has superior performance and reliability with its operational durability demonstrated in 5.000 km of off-road and road driving completed by the end user. PARS ALPHA 8×8, thanks to its unique design, offers the user the opportunity to always be ready for duty, especially by reducing the logistic burden in the field and with the low failure rate provided by its reliable design proven by tests.
PARS ALPHA 8x8 has the highest level of protection in its class against mines, IEDs, ballistic threats and artillery shrapnel that may be encountered in the field. The advantage of the power pack being located at the front increases the mine and ballistic resistance of the vehicle to an even higher level. The protection of personnel also distinguishes the vehicle from its competitors thanks to the driver and commander being positioned behind the power pack compartment. The interior layout designed against mine, ballistic and IED threats increases crew and personnel safety against high-level threats that may come to the vehicle from all directions. Thanks to the hydropneumatic suspension system, the vehicle has an adjustable ride height and can optionally increase the mine protection even further by increasing the ground clearance above 60 cm.
Thanks to the flexible interior and exterior layout of the vehicle, useful loads (shot detection system, laser warning system, active protection systems) can be easily integrated depending on user demands. Due to the single and wide interior volume of the vehicle, different layouts requested according to user needs can be easily realized within the same mobility platform and body. The spacious interior design, which allows the driver, commander and crew to communicate easily within the same interior volume without the need for any equipment, provides a comfortable layout that will increase personnel comfort, such as wide shoulder distance.
TABER-II 30/40 UKK
FNSS design TEBER-II 8/8 Remote Controlled Tower (UKK) has been integrated into the new generation PARS ALPHA 30×40 vehicle. The turret is equipped with a 30mm dual-feed automatic cannon. The existing 30 mm gun barrel can be replaced with a 40 mm barrel by keeping the basic parts of the gun and the stock as is. This choice of adaptable weapon system allows users to easily increase firepower when and where it is needed. Additionally, a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun is located next to the main gun.
Different anti-tank missile systems can also be integrated into the TEBER-II 30/40 UKK system. Two ready-to-fire anti-tank missiles are supported by a fire control system integrated into the turret. This capability makes it possible to eliminate various threats with an effective range exceeding 4 km.
Both the turret and the RCWS are designed to engage multiple targets simultaneously in all directions. The TEBER-II 30/40 RCW has two-axis stabilization capabilities that enable target tracking and firing while the vehicle is on the move. In addition to the TEBER-II 30/40 RCW, the vehicle can also be equipped with various types of manned or remote-controlled turrets, including 35 mm, 90 mm, 105 mm and 120 mm gun systems, 120 mm mortars, air defense systems and anti-tank systems.
Thanks to the optimized power pack design, the commander and driver can sit side by side. This new layout approach provides 180°+ real-time visibility for both passengers, significantly increasing situational awareness. In addition, the PARS ALPHA vehicle, which allows the placement of maneuvering cameras, provides easy operation and minimal blind spots for the driver and commander. The vehicle is also equipped with integrated 360° situational awareness systems with cameras and screens providing day and night vision for the crew and personnel.
