ABB Continues the BASAK Project Supporting Rural Development

The BAŞAK Project, implemented by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) to support development in rural areas and encourage the return from urban to rural areas, continues.

The project, which has attracted great interest in 903 rural neighborhoods, offers 60 different types of village house options ranging from 199 square meters to 11 square meters.

Within the scope of the BAŞAK Project; a total of 2025 village houses were delivered to citizens as of the first month of 98. While the highest delivery was made in Mamak with 20 projects, work continues in 8 projects in Gölbaşı, Çubuk, Kalecik and Keçiören districts.

The “BAŞAK Project” (Capital Ankara Village Houses Project), which was implemented by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality in accordance with the local architecture in order to support rural development, increase production and prevent illegal construction, continues.

The project, which aims to serve 5 rural neighborhoods with a population of less than 903 thousand, provides incentives especially to citizens who want to return from the city to the countryside.

11 DIFFERENT OPTIONS

Within the scope of the project, 60 different types of houses were designed, reflecting the Ankara house architecture and ranging from 199 square meters to 11 square meters. Citizens can choose the one that suits them from both single-storey and two-storey options. Each type is designed in accordance with local needs, while citizens benefit from the approval and licensing processes of the projects free of charge.

WORKS CONTINUE FOR 8 HOUSES

Within the scope of the BAŞAK Project carried out by the Department of Studies and Projects, a total of 2025 village houses were delivered to citizens as of the first month of 98. DRAWING AND APPROVAL PROCESSES CAN BE USED FOR FREE

After the interviews with the citizens, a detailed examination is made to see if their land is within the scope of the project and the necessary information is shared about the application process. The applicants who receive the application sketch, zoning diameter and road elevation documents from the District Municipality are invited to the technical office to complete their official applications. A site plan is drawn according to the type of project they have chosen and is sent to the citizen. After the citizens have a site plan and a ground survey done and submit their report to the project team, architectural, static, mechanical, electrical and landscape projects are drawn and submitted to the relevant district municipality for approval.

Citizens who apply to the project, which was launched for the first time by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, can benefit from the drawing and approval processes free of charge. Citizens who receive their approved projects can start building their homes by obtaining a construction permit from the District Municipality they are affiliated with.
