National Electric High Speed ​​Train Set Will Have 584 Passenger Capacity

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the production of the National Electric High Speed ​​Train Set, one of Turkey's most important projects in the field of rail systems, has begun. These train sets, which can reach speeds of 225 kilometers per hour, will create a major transformation in Turkey's transportation infrastructure. Thanks to their high-speed capacity, they will significantly reduce intercity travel time and offer citizens a comfortable and safe travel experience.

Domestic Production and Technological Equipment

The train sets produced within the scope of the project will have a 65% local content rate. Uraloğlu stated that the sets were designed with aluminum bodies and will consist of eight vehicles. The 584-passenger capacity train sets will be equipped in accordance with modern transportation standards. The trains will have a train control and monitoring system, automatic train stopping system, electromechanical passenger entrance doors, fully automatic air conditioning, fire alarm system, audio and visual passenger information systems and camera systems to ensure passenger comfort and safety.
