Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is continuously strengthening the Kocaeli Smart Bicycle System (KOBİS), which it established to contribute to the transportation infrastructure of the city. The system, which provides service with 12 smart bicycle stations and 82 bicycles in 535 districts, has reached 354 members and offers an important solution to Kocaeli's transportation needs. KOBİS, which carries out maintenance and repair works with great care to provide a safe and uninterrupted experience to its users, has maintained 808 bicycles as of 2024.
