Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın gave the good news at the Karfest-1 festival organized for the Kuzuyayla 2025st Stage Opening, where skiing, catering and social facilities are built for the citizens and easy access is provided by cable car, and said, “This is just the beginning, this is just a trailer. The actual film has not started, there will be much better things here.”

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın added a new one to tourism investments in Kartepe. Following investments such as Sapanca Lake surroundings, Ormanya, Kartepe nature trails and facilities, Kuzuyayla 1st Stage located at Kartepe summit was opened for service the other day with the Karfest-2025 festival. Completed last year and easily accessible with the cable car built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Kuzuyayla 1st Stage will bring Kocaeli residents together with unique nature and snow in winter with its ski slopes and social facilities.
