France Unveils New Unmanned Ground Vehicle at IDEX 2025!

KNDS France participated in the IDEX 2025 Fair held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, and introduced new developments in the defense industry. One of the most important products that attracted attention at this fair was the introduction of the CENTURIO-X30 unmanned ground vehicle. The CENTURIO-X30 stands out as a state-of-the-art unmanned ground vehicle developed to provide heavy fire support to infantry in modern warfare conditions.

CENTURIO-X30 Features and Configuration

Equipped with a 30 mm automatic cannon, the CENTURIO-X30 is built on the KNDS PHOBOS platform in collaboration with SOGECLAIR. This vehicle is designed specifically for high-intensity combat operations with its autonomous mobility and fire support capabilities. The CENTURIO-X30 can target armored vehicles, fortified positions and enemy personnel with its high-precision firepower on the battlefield. Thanks to its modular structure, the vehicle can be upgraded with new weapon integrations and sensor packages in the future.

Autonomous Mobility and Cognitive Support

CENTURIO-X30 is designed to increase operational efficiency by adapting to various conditions on the battlefield. This vehicle provides support for personnel by reducing cognitive load in low-intensity missions, while also assisting in critical decision-making processes in high-intensity conflicts. With these features, CENTURIO-X30 provides an example of how unmanned ground vehicles can play a role in modern warfare.

New Armored Vehicle Supply from France

As part of its defense developments, France has ordered 530 Serval Appui SCORPION armored vehicles. These vehicles will be delivered as part of the systems modernized under the SCORPION program of the French Armed Forces. Deliveries of the armored vehicles will be made in stages from the end of 2025 to 2031. This development shows that the French army aims to further strengthen its survivability, mobility and communication capabilities with armored vehicles.

A New Era in Defense Technology

The CENTURIO-X30, introduced by KNDS France, is a prime example of the latest developments in unmanned ground vehicles and modern defense technologies. Such vehicles highlight the power of autonomous systems that support manpower in future combat scenarios. France’s new armored vehicle orders demonstrate the impact of such innovative systems on the operational efficiency of the defense industry and armies.
