
The final of the High School Orchestras Compete, organized by the Osmangazi Municipality to provide young people with the opportunity to showcase their talents in music, featured the performances of successful young people.
A total of 39 schools registered for High School Orchestras Compete. As a result of the evaluation of the jury members in the preliminary rounds, a total of 17 music groups from 27 schools qualified for the finals. The music groups that passed the rounds and made it to the finals performed in the final night held at the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center Osmangazi Hall in order to be ranked.
High school students who took the stage to win awards in the categories of best female soloist, best male soloist, best orchestra, best composition and best instrument provided a night full of music to the audience that filled the hall. Grup Date and Osmangazi Youth Orchestra and Choir also took the stage in the final night.
The jury of the competition, coordinated by retired music teacher Alpay Mumcu, included Uludağ University Fine Arts Faculty faculty member Prof. Dr. Ayhan Helvacı, Bursa State Symphony Orchestra violinist Esra Kurtuluş, producer manager Özgür Ögöz, musician İstem Doruk Koman, vocal instructor Fatma Muslu, piano instructor Kerem Yunmuş and maestro Turgay Paksoy.

At the end of the competition, the winners in each category were given a gift certificate worth 10 thousand lira, the runners-up 7 thousand 500 lira and the third place 5 thousand lira. The orchestra that won the jury's special award also received a gift certificate worth 10 thousand lira. Osmangazi Deputy Mayor Mutlu Esendemir presented the awards to the young people who won the competition.
