TCDD to Hire 9 Port Crane Operators

The General Directorate of State Railways of the Republic of Turkey (TCDD) announced that it will recruit 9 Port Crane Operators (RTG and SSG) with an indefinite-term employment contract for the Haydarpaşa Port Operation Directorate. In this context, applications will be made with the condition of KPSS and the labor demands will be published through İŞKUR between January 20-24, 2025. Things to Know Before Applying

It is recommended that applicants see the workplace they will work at in advance. Candidates who apply and are on the final list determined by İŞKUR must submit the requested documents to the TCDD Human Resources Department before the oral exam. The document submission location is the TCDD General Directorate's central building in Ankara.

During the document submission process, applications of candidates who are found not to meet the requirements will not be accepted and their situation will be reported to İŞKUR. The documents of candidates who send documents by mail but do not meet the requirements will be destroyed one month after the submission date.

Oral Examination Process

Candidates who successfully complete the document submission process will be taken to the oral exam to be held at the TCDD Human Resources Department. The oral exam will be evaluated in two main categories: skill area and professional knowledge:

  1. Skills Assessment (50 Points)
    • Self-confidence: 10 points
    • Written communication: 10 points
    • Verbal communication: 10 points
    • Observation, ability, stress and problem solving: 20 points
  2. Professional Knowledge Assessment (50 Points)
    • Professional terminology knowledge: 10 points
    • Professional building material knowledge: 20 points
    • Vocational technical subjects knowledge: 20 points

As a result of the oral exam, the candidates' success score will be determined by taking 60% of the oral exam scores and 40% of the KPSS score. Candidates with a success score below 60 will be considered unsuccessful.

Appointment Process

Starting from the candidates with the highest score among those with a success score above 60, the requested 9 workers and the same number of substitute candidates will be determined.
