The meeting hosted by Adana Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 was held with the participation of Adana Governor, Adana Business Women Association President, TOBB Adana Women Entrepreneurs Board (KGK) President and many other important names. The meeting was a big step towards strengthening the role of women entrepreneurs in business life and preparing them for new opportunities in the future.
Esra Bezircioğlu: “Adana Has Great Potential for Women Entrepreneurs”
KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu explained the purpose of the Women of Commerce Platform as follows: “The Women of Commerce Platform, which we launched with Garanti BBVA in 2022, aims to offer more opportunities to our women entrepreneurs, ensure that they have a greater place in business life and help them take a step towards a sustainable future. Today, we are very happy to come together with our women entrepreneurs in Adana, one of the most dynamic cities in Turkey, by further increasing the power of this platform. With its fertile lands, strong industrial infrastructure and entrepreneurial spirit, Adana is one of the important engines of economic growth not only in the Mediterranean Region but also in all of Turkey. Offering great opportunities in many areas such as agriculture, industry, logistics and tourism, Adana also offers a unique potential for our women entrepreneurs. For this reason, we are proud to take the first step of the Women of Commerce Meetings here. These meetings, which we offer to women entrepreneurs to grow their businesses, open up to new markets and expand their commercial networks, also create a platform where they can share knowledge and experience with each other. As KAGİDER, we will continue to work tirelessly to increase women’s financial literacy, facilitate their access to public tenders and ensure that they have a stronger place in all areas of economic life. Garanti BBVA’s support is extremely valuable to us on this journey; I would like to thank them wholeheartedly for their contributions, from encouragement to training and new market opportunities.”
