Winter Tourism in Ordu Revived with 'Keyfalan Plateau Snow Festival'

Following the efforts of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler to initiate winter tourism, festivals began in the plateaus. In this context, a festival was organized in the Keyfalan plateau of Mesudiye district. The festival, which featured colorful scenes, was met with intense participation.

The snow festival, organized for the 8th time this year by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality and Mesudiye Municipality in Keyfalan Plateau of Ordu's Mesudiye district, was attended by many citizens from surrounding cities and districts as well as local people. Citizens who did not care about the cold turned the white cover into entertainment.

HEAVY SNOWFALL DID NOT STOP THE FUN

The events started with the lighting of the festival fire and included the most beautiful dog, Forest Games, Offroad and sled races, while local products were offered to citizens. Participation certificates and various gifts were given to those who won the competitions. In the festival where colorful scenes were experienced, citizens accompanied the songs of the city orchestra and local artists, danced horon with drums and zurna and skied with handmade sleds.

MAYOR GÜLER ALSO ATTENDED THE FESTIVAL

Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler also attended the snow festival, which was held for the 8th time this year in Keyfalan Plateau of Mesudiye district. Mayor Güler, who came together with the citizens, took many souvenir photos with the citizens.
