A NEW ERA IN THE TURKISH SPACE INDUSTRY: TUA AND AXIOM SPACE COOPERATION
Signed between Turkish Space Agency (TUA) and Axiom Space Memorandum of Understanding, constitutes a major turning point for the Turkish space industry. This cooperation, Axiom Space Station and other space activities. In this context, mutual cooperation will be provided in many areas such as space technologies, aviation, textiles, material science and life sciences.
MAIN GOALS OF THE COOPERATION
Key objectives of the collaboration between TUA and Axiom Space include:
- Establishing laboratories for research and discovery
- Creating production facilities that utilize microgravity environments
- Testing space materials for deep space missions
- Providing logistics services in low Earth orbit
- Development of new platforms for communication and observation
- Creation of training areas for professional astronauts
To achieve these goals, joint production of certain modules is planned in Turkey. This process will provide significant gains to the Turkish space industry and contribute to the strengthening of the sector at the international level.
PARTICIPATION OF YOUNG GENERATIONS IN SPACE ACTIVITIES
This cooperation also offers a great opportunity for Turkey's young population to be included in space activities. TUA President Yusuf Kıraç emphasized that this agreement will not only guide the industry but will also allow young people to explore the limitless possibilities of space. It was emphasized that Turkey will get a greater share of the global space economy, which will soon reach 1 trillion dollars annually, with the projects it will carry out.

The TUA and Axiom Space collaboration will contribute to Turkey's goals of domestic production and technological independence in the space industry.
