Train Journeys in Germany Are Becoming Budget-Friendly

Deutsche Bahn is making train travel in Germany more budget-friendly with a new promotion starting January 14. This campaign offers two million discounted tickets, providing a great opportunity for travelers who want to explore Germany.

Plan Your Trip at More Affordable Prices

The campaign aims to promote environmentally friendly travel while also reducing car dependency. Standard tickets are sold for €17,99, with an extra discount for travel on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, bringing prices down to €14,39. Bahncard holders can also save even more by purchasing these tickets for just €10,79.

Reservation and Travel Dates

Passengers can book these discounted tickets until January 28, with travel valid until December 13, 2025, giving families and holidaymakers the opportunity to secure tickets early for school holidays or major events.

“With this campaign, we aim to attract more people to train travel and to promote sustainability and affordability,” said Stefanie Berk, Marketing and Sales Manager at Deutsche Bahn.

Accessible Travel, High Demand

Tickets can be easily booked via the DB Navigator app or the bahn.de platform. However, please note that these tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable, so it's important to plan your travel carefully.

Given the high demand, those wishing to take advantage of this offer are advised to act quickly. With this promotion, Deutsche Bahn aims to promote affordable and environmentally friendly travel in Germany and offers a great opportunity for passengers looking to save money in a time of rising costs.
