The World's Most Famous Puppet Came to Life in Izmir

The world's most famous puppet, Pinocchio, was virtually recreated with the Dear Pinocchio Exhibition. The exhibition, which includes Pinocchio designs depicted by Italian graphic designers and puppet artists, had its official opening at the Konak Metro Art Gallery with the participation of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Prof. Dr. Pınar Okyay.

The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality hosted an important exhibition at the Konak Metro Art Gallery. Izmir was the fourth stop of the Dear Pinocchio Exhibition, prepared by the Italian Museums Directorate and exhibited in three countries so far. The official opening of the exhibition, which started to welcome visitors on Friday, January 3, was held with the participation of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Prof. Dr. Pınar Okyay, exhibition curator Giulio Iacchetti and Izmir Italian Consul Daniele Bianchi, as well as art lovers. Pinocchio, the world's most famous puppet, was recreated by Italian graphic designers and puppeteers, depicting them with their own originality. Original Pinocchio interpretations will continue to meet with the people of Izmir until February 28. The visiting hours of the exhibition were determined as 09.00:17.30-10.00:18.00 on weekdays and XNUMX:XNUMX-XNUMX:XNUMX on weekends.
