
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that a total of 1 billion 189 million liras worth of Social and Economic Support (SED) payments were deposited into accounts for January to support children socially and meet their education expenses.
Minister Göktaş stated in his statement that they attach special importance to services for children and diversify their services by taking into account the different needs of children.
Minister Göktaş stated that they support children with SED, together with their families and within their social environment, and that they work with all their might to ensure that children grow up as self-confident, educated and healthy individuals with national values.
Stating that they are making efforts to ensure that children grow up with the affection and warmth of their families through family-oriented social service models, Minister Göktaş said, “We deposited a total of 1 billion 189 million liras of SED payments into accounts for January to support children socially and meet their education expenses.”
With the new regulation in the January civil servant salary coefficient, the amount of economic support provided per child in the SED service will be deposited into the accounts of beneficiaries in February, increasing to an average of 7 lira.
